I don’t know about you, but being married seems to be a full time job. It’s not like you can call in sick, or play hookey (isn’t that why we shop)? The other day I was talking to my husband and suddenly I told him he was right about something. He almost dropped my breakfast tray!!!  Do you really think he made my breakfast? He actually called for a moment of silence (since that happens so rarely) so he could bask in the glow of it!!! Why is it we marry a man thinking he is so smart and then spend so much time correcting them. Does this happen to you? I think single is a full time job! It’s Saturday night – if you don’t have a date – you don’t have the luxury of having a couple glasses of wine at home, crawling into bed and watching a movie with your partner. You need a plan; where to go & what to wear. I’m exhausted just thinking about executing a plan. I need someone to say “just stay home.” But in the single world you never know whom you will meet or how quickly your life can change. So you throw on those heels, put on lip gloss, & pull on those skinny jeans. Then again a couple of glasses of wine and Sex and the City re-runs aren’t so bad either.
