Ship2Shore Tips– Do your homework. Get a Russian Visa (or you can’t tour independently), book the Talon Casino in St. Petersburg to channel your James Bond fantasies. Email ahead for lunch/dinner reservations when in port. Check with a travel agent to choose the port or starboard side of the ship.

For ship excursions, sign up early (they sell out) or hire a private guide in advance. Tour on your own, hire a cab, or rent a car to escape cruise port syndrome (be sure not to miss the ship!)

Don’t forget – make time to visit one of 500 curative mineral springs, (after all a girls got to glow)
