Wear2Where Can you ever have enough boots? No! They work everywhere in the wine country. Flat boots for daytime so you don’t trip in case you are over served at a winery. And high heel boots for evening when you want to look sexier sipping your glass of Bordeaux. (MS)

Does being married or single influence fashion selection? Can you relax more if married & not chasing your next date, or do you love looking sexy for your husband? Sometimes you might want to “marry” the two. Look for M (married), S ( Single) or a MS (married/single) next to the fashion looks.

Wear2Where  Of course standing on your head in a great outfit would get attention -but this dress, with two tone gloves and V neck sweater for evening (it gets really cold in Napa at night) would get lots of attention for the single girl having drinks at Solage Calistoga. You would only stand on your head later for the right date. (S)

Wear2Where Throw on leggings and a pea coat or leather jacket, add an over sized shoulder bag to run around in the wine country – you will be casual enough for wine tasting or chic enough for a great lunch with your husband at Auberge du Soleil. The tote will hold all your tech devices – camera, phone, I pad… the days of small purses are diminishing. Brown and black are such complimentary tones for the fall. You can wear these colors all year round. (M)

Wear2Where  How do you think the vines grow? They need rain to thrive, which means we all need a great trench coat for fall weather. Wear a black trench coat over this camel leather sheath dress as you enter The Restaurant at Meadowood. A rich green tote adds the punch to this outfit. Single or married you can’t miss with this ensemble!   (MS)

 Style It

Good styling is finding your own style. Determine what works for you, what body attributes to accentuate, what to disguise. It is not about following trends. Short waisted? Keep tops longer and proportionate to your legs. Long Legs? Shorter skirts do work for you. Fully endowed – lucky you! Higher necklines – you’ve already got the sexy look. Most of all, wear pieces that you are comfortable in; you will exude confidence and attitude. That’s the ultimate styling goal.

Wear2Where – You can never look too elegant. Black and white fashion pieces are investments. A slim knit dress is timeless and flattering at knee length. A full draped pant and silky blouse never go out of style. Drape the pant or dress with a full loose- fitted coat; you can travel anywhere in SF. Wear any of these pieces to cocktails or dinner – Your husband wont be able to resist you. He may just get a room at the Palace Hotel on your way home!  (M)

Wear2Where. – What do you wear to Fleet Week? Men everywhere! A bronze slip dress is a metal reflector that attracts the men in uniform. Show up with the right parts showing. Hit the Tipsy Pig, Bourbon & Branch or A 16.  A knit skirt with boots topped with a shimmery bronze coat is sleek and sexy. Tight metallic pants accentuate your well toned body (remember girls it’s been a long time at sea). If you want to be a little more playful, try the school girl look, wear a short skirt and knee socks. It gets attention and is a fun single style.   (S)

Wear2Where  – Girls’ night out or an evening with your husband –  wear leggings, booties & layer with an architectural jacket. Long legs work for all the men. A short skirt, tights and cropped jacket can be worn day or night. Then you can peel back the layers as you hit the new restaurant in SF called Lolinda – one of the latest trendy restaurants in the Mission. A very cool new spot to see and be seen.  (MS)

Style It!

Remember good styling is purchasing pieces and using them with your own favorites from your closet. Traveling to different climates on the same trip means using the same piece in various ways by accessorizing differently. Pack carefully. Shop for great basics that can travel around the world! Better to invest in one great piece that you will have for years. Isn’t it all about return on investment?

Sometimes you might want to “marry” the two. Look for M (married), S ( Single) or a MS (married/single) next to the fashion looks. We all want classic, colorful silky Fall blouses. We love Equipment shirts. Day or night cozy over sized knitwear always works. Rag & Bone has it “covered.”
